Kodak Autographic (during and after repair)

Kodak Autographic

This is the famous Kodak Autografic camera, know also as the "soldier camera" as it was frequently used by soldiers during WW1 to take pictures to be sent back to their families and relatives. I saw some of them on display at the Verdun Battle Museum.

The camera is very simple and well built. Its conservation status (except for the bellows that had to be replaced) is good and the camera is fully usable.

The bellow was sourced from Sandeha Lynch a  great person and photographer. I recommend to look at his blog https://sandehalynch.wordpress.com/

Pictures

I have loaded an overly expired MACO 127 film and I am completing the first rolls. Still have to decide about development considering the age and status of the film

July 2024 Update

What a disaster, the film is soo badly expired and the result is simply horrible. Also had a small issue while fixing. The camera works well however :-) although the film was consistently under exposed.
