Polaroid Land modified for film pack

Back sourced from a 220 Land donor camera

This is the modificed Land camera to accept film packs. A Polaroid Land 220 was the donor for the back. The task was not over complex, however a lot of care and precision are required.
I have to admit that dismantling the 220 was emotionally painful for me as the camera was in excellent working conditions.
Shortly after conversion, Polaroid decided to quit the instant film business and Fujifilm came to the rescue. Their wonderful bw 3000 film was my preferred emulsion as I was less excited by the color film ... until the day also Fujifilm sadly stopped production.
I still have some 20 color films that I will shoot for a yet to be decided project.
The camera is very well manufactured. Metal and high quality plastic along with a well built bellow.
You have two viewfinders: one for composing (with frames moving according to distance) and another for focusing. The focusing viewfinder is quite accurate and you adjust distance by turning the big knob below the frame under the bellow.
The lens is good enough for the purpose of using instant film and having many speeds and apertures at your disposal free you from any constraint.
