Stereo Photography

Here another interesting topic that I just started exploring. For my first experiment i have used an expired Rollei retro bw single use camera.

I have assembled a rudimentary slit for the camera that I mount on my tripod. It allows me to take two pictures at 2.5 inches distance between them.

 

I am reusing an old viewer, recycled from a book.

Results are great - in terms of stereo viewing - and this is not exactly what I would have expected for my first test.

I will do more for improving the technique.

Some more testing

I attended an air show and did some tests with my smartphone by taking one shot with my weight on the right leg and the second on the left leg. Results ar good.
